With a unique sound that samples equally from indie guitar rock, post-punk, and shoegaze, R. Father & The Dashing Bastards formed in 2009 in Austin, Texas. Singer/guitarist Richi Fatheree put the band together with Thomas Fuller on drums, Donovan Pierce on bass, and Jason Adams and Tony Nelson on guitars to round out the wall of sound.
